Ohana is pleased to announce the completion of the new unlimited molded race board. These boards are being fabricated in San Clemente, California under the control of our personnel.

Eric Stearns ran away with 1st place in the open race on his new 14-0 open ocean racer to start off the events. Rob Rojas came in 2nd place in the elite and followed it up with a 1st in the long distance event. Stearns’ performance was very recognized with a 3rd place overall on his 14-0 behind the respected Chuck Patterson and Rob Rojas. Great job guys, incredible representation. Russell and Thomas “Maximus” failed to make the event after automobile troubles . . . blown motor . . . when they entered the high desert. Towed back to San Clemente.

Ohana team paddler Thomas “Maximus” Shahanian finished 1st powering through a very challenging and technical race. Ohana’s Will Rechenstein finished 3rd stating “. . . this was one of the greatest experiences I’ve had . . . ” Nice. All for a great cause, those affected with autism.

Rob Rojas placed a solid 2nd last weekend at Utah race in 14′ division. New 14′ prototypes are being developed now that Ohana has seen what it takes to handle a paddler 200+ pounds. Great job Mr. Rojas!!!

Dane DeBoer takes 1st overall in Open Class BOP Hawaii

Dane Deboer paddled his unlimited Ohana to the gate in the open race Hawaii after a direct hit on the turning buoy. Nice job Dane. Eric Stearns came in shortly winning the 14′ division. Great opener for Ohana at the BOP.


Rojas takes Hobie/Hennessey’s Dana Point

Rob Rojas finished 2 minutes ahead in the Unlimited SUP division to take 1st place at Dana Point. Could have been exciting when Rob caught an outside set coming in to the finish but had to bail to save his 19′ board from another paddler. Thanks Rob. Don’t have time to do another repair.
